When we got to the room we litterally dropped off our luggage and went straight to the nearest store to buy a bottle of disinfectant to somewhat feel like the room was suitable to sleep in.
The yellow curtains had huge black ink stains on them (atleast thats what I hope it was) there was soda or some kind of carbonated sticky blotches all over the walls, mirrors and windows, finger prints on the mirrors and windows and an inch or more of dust on the alarm clock. Everything was litterally GUMMY and black. When we got to our room there was a drip of blood on the handle right as we walked in, complete filth buildup on the door handles, light switches and remote. There was litterally random plastic bags, dog food and huge stains all the way up and down the hallway.
When we got off the elevator to go to our room, the first thing that greeted us was a dingy, smelly, and OUTDATED hallway. They barely clean rooms in between guests. The elevator, hallways and rooms are absolutely disgusting. The lobby is well kept but as soon as you step on the elevator to get to your room the entire place changes.
I've stayed in this hotel several times over the years when I have visited Kansas city and was rather pleased however, I am still trying to wash off the filth from my most recent stay.
