All you have to do is take the Orange Line to either Malden or Wellington and use the Encore Casino shuttles to get to the casino.
We decided to check out the newly opened Encore Boston Harbor Casino on a Saturday afternoon. I want to start off this review by saying gambling is not my thing. So this establishment looks pretty good compared to its surroundings.
This is not a very attractive area with many run down buildings. It was a Tuesday afternoon so not very crowded. Everything was so fresh, new, bright and clean. We also did a walk outside the casino which was lovely along the mystic river. Shopping and restaurants on both levels and a spa, hair salon, and workout room along with hotel rooms. Decor is just like the big new hotels in Vegas with red chandeliers hanging above the gambling tables. We are not big gamblers but enjoyed playing a few floor slot machines and roulette wheels. Very pleasant helpful attendant's throughout the establishment. Very pretty with the horses all decorated in flowers with flowers surrounding it, colorful mosaic floors, and a beautiful stair case to the second level. We were left off at the main entrance to the Garden display of the carousel. We took an Uber here from the southend, $15.00 with tip. This was a good change of pace near Boston.
